This will ensure that any communications made over the company network will have some layer of security. This includes email that originates from an address that is not related to the company. For example, an employee may email his boss from his own email address.

What Does This All Mean

Quite simply, it means your network is going to be faster, larger and more secure. VPN, SSL, and MPLS systems are great solutions when it comes to the problems faced by businesses today. Smaller companies can use a VPN to allow salespeople to check in when they are busy making deals outside the office. Business owners don’t have to worry about a competitor getting his hands on a private email. Conferences conducted over the Internet will run smoother and easier. These are all tangible results from using these systems.

Have your IT staff implement these systems as soon as possible. If you don’t have an IT staff, you can have your cable company help you out. There is no excuse for not taking advantage of modern networking solutions.
